Technically she's not... However seeing at how Jane and Alice are in this collection, I see no reason for Esmerelda not to be in this collection.

XD i agree! i haven't seen esmeralda in anything (and for all we know she coulda been a gypsy princess, just sayin' 8D ) and she played a main role for a female character like most of the disney "princess" girls so, but then again i don't know how disney goes about selecting their princesses xD

Here is my Jasmine Story:
Jasmine:
Aladdin had been killed by the return of Jafar, he was sealed away into an hourglass and Jasmine did not get to him in time. Jasmine, devastated by the loss of her true love sunk into despair and various stages of rage. Jafar entered her bedroom wearing his sly smirk.
"Why princess, why so gloom?" Jafar hissed with a release of a cackle. Jasmine lifted her head immediately and sent him a dark look. She knew exactly why he was here. "I know that we didn't have a chance to get close," He uttered as he stepped close to her, "But now we can start from where we left off..." Jafar stated as his face was mere inches from the angry princess.
"I would rather die and fade into the sand!" Jasmine spat, venom dripping from each word. Jafar's face mangled into one of rage and stood tall, towering above her.
"If that is your wish, then so be it!" He yelled, an hourglass cage surrounding her. She felt tiny specks fall from above to see sand falling drastically. Jasmine glared at him but accepted her wish - she knew what she wanted and all she wanted was Aladdin.
"See you again, Jafar. Do heed my warning, next time you see me, you WILL beg for your life!" Jasmine murmured in a dangerous monotone. That warning made the genie Jafar laugh mockingly while exiting the room. As the sand gathered around her waist she noticed something rather odd. She lifted her hand and arm to see her beginning to disintegrate into sand, which, in-turn, caused the vengeful princess smirk. The sand had crushed her, but she felt no pain, for she was fused with sand. "Aladdin, I will avenge you!" cried the new avenger. The pressure from her rage and the weight of the sand caused the glass the shatter. Summoning the sand, Jasmine blew with the wind as sand and flew into the royal gala, where Jafar sat on the throne of her father.
"Jafar, maybe you shouldn't have taken the throne..." Iago mentioned fluffing his feathers, and fear clearly heard in his voice. Jafar laughed at Iago's impudence, Jafar as sultan has no fear, for he is the most powerful in the world.
"Iago, there is nothing to worry about, who can stop us?" Jafar bellowed, amusement lacing in his tone. Iago just sighed and flew towards Jasmine, as he drew to her sandy being she pinned him to the wall and silenced him with a hush. Iago nodded, afraid of what she'd do if he didn't. "It's a pity I had to kill the princess, but her attitude was rather old..." Jafar sighed, cuddling his back into the throne. From the door he heard a sinister, dark female laughter. Jafar stood, legs shaking slightly out of fear, "Who's there?!" The powerful man demanded. The sand began to gather and form a woman's frame. As it finished assembling, Raja, Jasmine's giant pet jaguar, stood behind the form of Princess Jasmine defensively. Jafar's eyes grew wide, it was now he was facing shock and was truly afraid. "It can't be..." Jafar breathed backing away from her slowly, he turned to run only to face a sand clone of her.
"Jafar, you took my life, Aladdin's life, and my kingdom, you will die!" The Jasmine before him cried summoning sand to form blade. Jafar sped into a quick dash but was confronted by yet another clone. She raised the sword and walked to him, as did the original and her first clone. When he was finally surrounded, they all launched the sand knife and slashed him. As Jafar's severed body fell, in a lake of his blood, Raja came running at Jasmine and began to lick her human form. She giggled petting him and ran to free her father, the true sultan.

yu should use the scenario of which jasmine was trapped in the hourglass by jafar in the end of the first aladdin movie, and aladdin never made it to her in time, him being killed by jafar from suffocation (since jafar had turned himself into a snake to attack aladdin) and jasmine being killed by the build up of sand. and that is all i got.
