in pursuit of another badge, another drawing that i tried way too hard on despite what it looks like! yaaaay

this was a cute and simple tutorial and i liked playing around with it by exaggerating features like the head and the horn. also, the tutorialist's accent was so so good.

i experimented with more shading and linewidth variation, things ive been trying to do more often. i think i've gotten better at making things cleaner, but i am hoping i will eventually be able to branch out from the bold clean lines to a more unique style. maybe i just need to experiment with brushes.

for some reason, overall, i'm not really that happy with the result, even though i thought i would be super proud of it while i was working. i guess that's just how it goes sometimes. maybe i'll appreciate it more in the future after i forget i even made it.
