Look who got off her lazy butt!

So, my dex, is as you all ought to know, undergoing some renovation. I don't know whose getting replaced (obligatory Toy Story feed), but I need new concepts to do the replacing. This is one of them. I call it Geckaty, a mix of Gecko and Katydid. It is a Bug/Dragon type, and version exclusive. Its counterpart is a Fighting/Dragon who I still have to work some kinks out of. All I know is that said counterpart is cream, fluffy, topheavy, vicious-looking, and flightless. But that's a whole nother story.

Geckaty is the product of sudden inspiration in Computer Ed; the idea for these two has been rolling around in my mind for a while, though. That happens sometimes- always great fun to have such a vivid vision (down to color) of how some random curves should turn out. And I must say, I think I did a pretty good job of portraying what my mind wanted.

Now, if only I could have remembered to save the brush I used for the lineart- I swear, I'm on the cusp of having Sugi style DOWN.
