Bluest: "Heh. Fine. Fae are short elf-like creatures. They usually lose their wings pretty early in their lives, though some variants can keep their wings and we refer to them as "sprites". Fae are typically much more like the tricksters that are categorized of all fairies, and are much more bold than other fairies. Most of the Pet Fairy breeds are actually Fae or Sprites.
Mr. Visage: "And what purpose do they serve?"
Bluest: "Nice catch! Fae generally eat excess magic buildup in areas like mines, factories, and breeding grounds. That's why they usually congregate around cities and towns, and why they were turned into pets so easily."
Mr. Visage: "Very good. And pixies?"
Bluest: "Insects, basically. They eat dead fairies."
Mr. Visage: "Wow."
Bluest: "Yeah, pixies are pretty brutal."
