Original Commentary: Zubat seriously hiked up the stakes in this relationship. He just couldn't lava guy like that, so he smoked him. It probably started by making a mountain out of a molehill of problems and grew to an erupting hatred that finally made Zubat blow his top. Did Zubat really fire him? Or will the events show that he really just made an ash of himself? We'll just have to wait in heated anticipation for the eVENTS to unfold.

A bit scarier this time, but this was the first of the 'Where are They now?' comics I wrote. I really liked how this one turned out especially how much narrowing the pupils can add to an expression. Plus, I was way overdue for some puns.

New Commentary: The Hiker is probably fine. The dynamic panels of this comic were incredible, but mostly I wanted to make this comic so I wouldn't need to draw the Hiker's tiny hand anymore. Perspective be damned, I couldn't be bothered to make a stick figure Zubat in panel 1, but know that Mal is normal sized, not giant as he is depicted in panel 1. I wanted Mal to say "Sayonara, Hiker-san." but then decided to go full weeb and look up what "Hiker" would be in Japanese. After a little bit of research I found his name to be "Yamaotoko" and the rest is history. Art wasn't the main concern of this comic, but I don't think the art is too bad overall. I need to work on establishing shots, and get a bit more comfortable drawing people. :\
