I've heard May 31 is National Macaroon Day...and I'm not sure whether it's intended to celebrate the coconut macaroons or the French macarons because I've seen it celebrated with both.
But regardless, here is Macaron Cookie posing for a cute photoshoot to celebrate! I've been wanting to practice drawing chubby people so drawing her as a human is always a good idea for me - and I think this may just be among my best drawings of this year! It's certainly a favorite of mine.
The coolest fashion designer in the Cookie World has made a new line of cutesy outfits for plus-sized women like Cocoa, Macaron and Avocado, as proof that you don't have to be skinny to look good and be adorable. Macaron Cookie is modeling the adorable music-themed outfit with a colorful crop top that proves that even fat tummies can pull off the look and still look darling!
I always love to design custom outfits for specifically Macaron for some reason. I mean, so far this is the third!
Maybe it's because we, meaning she and I, have similar body types and this is just me self-projecting my desire for outfits which look this adorable and fit me ;w;
I definitely think I've improved on drawing a chubby girl's body in this drawing. She looks squishy and cuddly~ The headband accessory was inspired by her Castanets pet!
Psst! I've hidden a little easter egg into this drawing. If you can read the sheet music on her top, I dare you to play the song. Just don't tell anyone what it is publicly, such as in the comments. I don't want anyone to be spoiled.
I've still got some macarons in the house, but no macaroons since Passover. ;w; Now I want to eat BOTH again...
