The moment I saw this, I realized that it would be "inspired" by pokefreak, it's a beautiful rendition based off his piece. I definitely enjoy the style you've created. The relationship between Itachi and Sasuke is certainly something to ponder over...you mean it as a pairing, but this picture can be taken so many different ways.
What especially gets to me are the obvious strong emotions in this piece. Very rarely do I get moved by artwork, and even less so fanart, but the heavy, dark and sad atmosphere you've made with such light colors is amazing. Their poses, the expressions, the way they seem to see each other and yet can't, it's captured so well. The body language speaks of such deepness and melancholy want that I stop to think about it.
So in general, I'd just really like to applaud you on the use of feelings as a base, portrayed so cleverly....this may not be the most original fanart ever, but the piece connects us to raw human emotions, and that's what makes it so special. Continue with such creativity, beautiful job.
