theres about 14 books of the manga, (pretty fast reads honestly) so go with those...yes Sanji rocks. ^^ Personally I like Tony chop chop the best.

I second that! I stopped watching it at episode 80 because i thought the same (that it was too long) and two years later went back for a second chance and i don't regret it a bit!!!!!! One piece is my number 1 Series. It's totally Amazing!!! I do, also, advise if you don't have time to watch all episodes, to read the manga! You will not regret it, guaranteed.

And yeah, they started a new season of One Piece on Toonami, but the cast characters have new vocals, which creep da f*** outta me!!! Do not watch, because the first seasons had a better vocal cast.....Sanji was kickass!
But if you do watch, better brace yourself....it will take time to get used to.

What are you talking about?! The old voice cast was God awful! 4kids had been dubbing it before and they had no idea what they were doing. The voices didn't suit the characters at all... more importantly, they changed names for absolutely no reason, filled every episode with awful puns that were completely out of character, censored things unecessarily and crappily, and cut entire story arcs. You realize, in Arabasuta (Alabaster?) which hadn't had rain for two years... they turned the army's guns into water guns. They had NO WATER, and 4kids made them shoot it at the rebel army. Why? Because the person incharge, Al Kahn, insists that all children are idiots. The change of liscence and accompanying change of voice cast is the best thing that has ever happened to One Piece.
...Sorry. Got carried away. But anyway, great job on the bookmark! All of the characters look great, especially for someone that's not familiar with the anime... which you really should try to fix. There are 328 episodes currently... it's fillers right now, but before that was the Enies Lobby Story arc. And It's freaking epic.[/One Piece Fanboy]

Yeah......the voice acting sucked about three weeks ago, along with thier new theme song..........my ears are bleeding. I liked the first set of vocals for one piece....Sanji was cool, Zolo was a badass, Chopper was innocent, Nani was greedy, Usopp ( typo) was a crazy person who did not have DBZ Krillin's voice in English, and Luffy was funny and all. SO yeah, the start was great, but the new vocals suk eggs......LOL. I'm still watching it, but I guess I have to turn to reading the manga.......Yes, I'll do that.

Honestly, people... go watch the Japanese version. That crap that had been airing on Cartoon Network? The one preceeded by a white nerd attempting to rap? That wasn't even One Piece. That was Al Kahn trying to brainwash children. The reason the voices changed is because the liscence changed, as I just said, and the liscence changed because the 4kids version was made of failure. Go to youtube.com and look up the Worst 4kids Dub Moments by Tsukento. That should give you an idea of the crimes comitted against the poor anime...

Er the lollipop is the englsih dubbing way of taming the anime, Sanji actually smokes but when it was dubbed it was seen as young viewer unfriendly and changed.
