Description
I thought I'd throw this up for miss =TVD-Photography cause she keeps posting tiger shots, so I thought I'd repay her with a cheetah shot cause I believe she loves them like I love tigersJezza

I think the DOF is just great and you have the light in the eye which draws our attention.... the grass edit is undectable but I think I know which blade... you just did'nt have a whippersnipper in your back pocket right?

Jer-Trow In reply to Sun-Seeker [2007-12-07 11:57:26 +0000 UTC]
ok ok.. here is my explaination...
to the left of his eye (the left of the two as we see them) there are weird lines leading away from the eye.. that is where it starts.. then it follows along down the darker spots, going diagonally down left.. if you were to draw a line straight down from the cheetahs left edge of the ear, where it meets the grass is where it finishes... lol..
if u still dont understand and u really wanna see, i'll try find the origional somewhere

don't think it counts unless it's a HUGE bit you edit out. And I can't even tell where you edited it out, so it's all good, in my opinion (which might not count for a whole lot...>.><.<
Anywho, I love this photo!!! How DID you get that close, anyhow?

bah, every opinion counts and i like you opinion so it counts more
it wasn't that big, just a blade of grass that went in front of the cheetahs face a bit..
i was in the enclosure with the cheetah when i took it

that should explain all, if not, ask

this is great how od u put the borders around your pictures?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Jer-Trow In reply to DigitalDayne [2007-08-29 14:06:33 +0000 UTC]
using a grid over the image, i measured 20pixles from each edge, and used guide lines to mark it out and then i selected what was between the guide lines and upped the curve (brightened) so it created the border you see
i've been meaning to make a tute on it.. soon enough i suppose

Actually, editting out things in a photo does not mean it is a photomanip. It just means you are post-editting it to better the photo. Now, if you were to add.. other photos, or draw on it or something, then yes.. it would be a photoedit. But you were merely trying to make the image better by removing a distraction.
This image is beautiful.
