Description This was my first time to model a Human Male Character in 3D… it’s not perfectly anatomically correct, but the model is not really that haft bad either . It still in progress though. And I’m not really aiming for a too realistic type of look, instead; I was intending to incorporate my own drawing style trough the model. I’m actually wanted to do a semi realistic but still that it may consider as an Anime style model. Well I don’t know if I’m on the right track

Ok I must know how you do the body, my method which I deem piss poor. ( [link] ) It just does not work for me, do you know of an online tutorial I can use?

sorry I don't know any online tutorial that you can learn about it...

I just figured it out this modeling process by myself.

Kailangan eh! ganyan kasi ang mga magiging trabaho ko either sa game industry / or animation, eh (mag-model ng human characters)... di naman kasi pang habang buhay puro Robots and Mechas or other inorganic objects na lang parati ang alam kong gawin, syempre kailang ko din matuto ng human modeling...

Magagawa mo ring magmodel ng tao dre, practice lang ang katapat at study harder ^_^, don't put doubt on yourself and think na di mo kayang gawin, sahalip ay subukan mo at mag-experimento using your skill ang knowledge sa pagmomodel... kung parati mo lang katatakutan ang isang bagay ay wala kang patutunguhan(ganon ako before)

hihihih baligtad ka ng advice sa fellow architects ko lol... sabi nila focus ako sa archi renders para maperfect ko rin... eh sa yun naman field ko... heehee... anyway, pag may time din talaga gagawa din ako ng organic stuff... although yun nga di ko sure kung magsestay ako sa 3d max or magswitch ako sa maya or zbrush...

hehehe, It's not really a big deal if you are a Archi artist ^_^ mas mabuti nga if you know everything kesa to stick to one thing you know, magagamit mo rin namn yung knowledge mo sa modeling someday sa ibang paraan...

Why not try to use both softwares, I'm actually using both 3dMax and Zbrush.



(btw i'm supposed to be an Architect too, but I decided to shift careers in Digital arts )

right you are... yun nga lang kasi di talaga ako fully nagshift sa digital arts... naeenjoy ko rin kasi yung archi work... wag lang yung estimate estimate na yan... mahirap lang kasi makahanap ng free time eh... anyway since recession naman baka bigla ako mawalan ng work at mabuhusan nang sandamukal na free time hahah... ay dude pala, sa level ko sa 3d may pag asa ba ako makuha sa digital art companies, kahit trainee lang muna?

Oo naman, may ibang company nago-organized muna ng pre-training sa mga employee nila bago isabak actual work, pero minsan depende na lang din sa company.
