...This actually makes me think it might have a secondary purpose. To gague how much influence the smbiot might have on Parker; the more control it games, the more the costume starts to become the pure black suit, giving Peter a timer to when he can safely avoid becoming a puppet.

Definitely my favorite. Feels like a more modernized and subtle Ultimate Spiderman outfit from the 90's cartoon.
