probably the best thought out piece from the pack - i would have liked to see slightly more advanced abstract greeny stuff, but thats a small quibble

good piece. i like the green energy effect. my only crit is with the central device thing.... i think it could use more detail and have a more defined shape. but definitely a very original and moody piece here.

great work once again.
one thing I'm loving in this is the main pipe to the left, the reflection is very nice. although it would leave one to wonder where the reflection is coming from (it looks like a dusk horizon) when the scene appears to be in the dead of night.
again great abstract model for the machine, and the lighting on the little console is smooth and works great. A bit more detail to the texture on the ground, or atleast its bump map might have been nicer.. maybe not such a hi bump and specular value for the ground aswell, but really, it is a minor thing, it still looks fairly convincing.
It goes without saying the green spirity stuff coming outa the machine is top quality. I'm curious as to what methods this is created? is it done in MAX or did you create it in post processing? if done in MAX, is it particles, or an object with a funky shader on it?

thought it was a promo for voodoo machines when i saw the thumb in my dev watch lol.
as usual great texturing/brushing and or apophysis/modeling.
good lighting. look closely and its off a bit but its a hell of a lot more accurate than what i can do at my skill level
