[ Commission ]DIGITAL INKS + TONAL ENHANCEMENT
Requested by Skimike On FA, of His Character Alecrast raging a battle against Elea, a character designed by me, and requested by the commissioner. This is one of my personal favorites of this batch, and I quite proud of how her design came out, Character, Armor and Weapon wise... I just Love that demonic feel on her - Mike gave me whole artistic freedom for this pic, and I glad say it, that I truly enjoined working with this pic.

Trabajo para Skimike en FA, de su personaje Alecrast en batalla conElea un personaje diseñado por mi, y pedido por el cliente. Este trabajo es mi favorito de todo el lote. Estoy bastante orgullos del como salio su diseño, como Personaje, en su Armadura e incluso su Arma... Estoy sinceramente facinado con la sensacion demoniaca que tiene Elea - Mike me dio total Libertad Artistica para esta imagen, y muy seguramente les puedo decir, que disfrute enserio hacer esta imagen.

Really REALLY nice ^^
The realist in me wants to point out a few flaws though... First of all, quite skimpy armor, on both of them. Of course, everyone does that, so nobody cares, but still.
Also... A scythe AND a dagger? Ain't that a bit unweildy?

that's not a dagger, it a magical spell which create energy in the form of a dagger.
How i see it is, she went to attack him, he first block the side handle of the Scythia with his shield, so she summon the energy and went to strike him.
However he switch and sword to hit the Scythia blade so it cant move, and he moved his shield a bit to block the energy strike.
If she put more magical energy into the energy strike it will long gate enough to hit his head.
Which is how she could win.

Still leaves the skimpy armor, but as mentioned, nobody really cares about that anymore. xD

Actually usually I do have a problem, however mine problem is when people put female into skimpy armor, and not the male's.
Since this artist did it with both, I don't mind.
As long as it even I don't mind.

Hm, true that. It does look rather weird when all the females (in say, a game) is wearing stripperific armor, while all the men look like tanks.

I know you're not asking for critiques on this, so you can just hide this if you feel the need to. (If you even see it among the ocean of other comments)
Alea-
-She's hardly gripping her scythe. There's not reasonable wa for her to be holding such a large weapon, especially at that angle, with the way she's holding it.
-She'd be tripping over Alecrast's leg like a cartoon character given the way their legs are mixed up like that.
-Her focus doesn't seem aimed at Alecrast. It looks more like she's staring at the tip of his sword.
-Not really a flaw, but her loincloth is hardly above what it's supposed to cover up. It just doesn't look properly warrior like.
Alecrast-
-His sword is quite bent, in an unnatural way. A simple straight line tool from either the hilt or the tip makes it easy to see.
-He doesn't seem to have a very firm grip on his shield, not the best idea while in the heat of combat.
-He's using the entire length of his arm to block the edge of the scythe when he could have his sword behind him to block the entire thing. Seems ineffective as she could just slide the scythe down the length of the sword and still decapitate him immediately.
Colors-
-The orange glow that's occurring around Alecrast has no source. What's the reasoning for it? The green glow around Alea at least appears to have a source; her runes and the various lightning effects, but the orange glow doesn't seem to have a purpose other than to differentiate the two.
-There's a whole lot of white and gray tones in this, but not much else. The green effects around Alea don't break the monotony of the two characters being very similar in color, leading to a bit of a boring color scheme.

Unless the character has ubber strength in one arm alone, seems "a bit" difficult to let that one pass by, hm?
