Description

This, the result of an opportunity to use AI as part of my palette and studio space, is based on a commission challenge I accepted nearly three years ago - one that I found hard to fathom. The request was to "draw that which the mind knows but can never access".

I took this to mean, draw the autopilot that keeps a body and brain going without our conscious selves trying to jump in and seize control.

I suppose I just liked the idea of trying to create something we all know must be there but never can see, touch or really do anything but wonder over 'it' .. whatever that life-spark is.

Obviously the AI felt 'it' had a black hole in the centre and that wasn't part of my brief or a suggestion. It has also suggested an 'eye' of great complexity so the only question now is ...... what's that eye seeing and which side are we viewing this from?

I'll try AI again sometime as I can see it may provide an image-crunching 'viewpoint' like an opinion at an opening private viewing.
