"you ever sit by the lake and you think you see another you? but they really looks nothing like you..okay maybe this whole war thing is making me crazy haha.."

"y'know being surrounded by these pretty flowers is so nice, I miss the flowers back at home, I hope the others made it out safe..anyways.. what are these called?.. blue roses? they're really pretty! they glisten in the moon light too."

"this is my favourite spot! my favourite flowers, my favourite lake, all these perfect memories I can reminisce on.. oh- who's that?.. eh. it's like the gods are speaking to me.....huh did I eat the flowers? er- prefer not to say!"

"miss...this is weirding me out do you know why I keep seeing things?.. man...am I really that home sick?.. wish I could go home...see all my friends...see my mom.. *sigh*"

slight lore:

the character, karma is a formie that fled to popstar after formies were evacuating to earth's moon, his ships route was messed up so him and a few others were brought to the wrong planet, they planned on waiting until they could call the others to pick them up but popstars tech wasn't advanced enough let alone at all yet to do so, so the small group of formies were stuck

karma and his brother echo ended up seperating and going their own ways occasionally meeting up by Karmas favourite lake to see how each other were doing.

karma joined a group of puffballs that were beginning some form of rebellion or squad against something which he learnt was a war to fight for the freedom of an enslaved puffball species called kibaru, they were very welcoming to outsiders and anyone willing to join their resistance.

karma always wore a cloak and a mask in fear something would want him dead for being an "alien" and so the resistance didn't know what he looked like besides the fact he's blue and fluffy. he grew an attachment to this special lake surrounded by blue roses, which he dubbed blue rose lake.

he calls it special because 1. his favourite flower 2. it's calming at night time 3. fireflies are common by the lake

but on occasion he'd see a reflection that wasn't his own, he had trouble describing it, it was like him but not him in a way it was weird. he begun thinking it was hallucinations from the fact he'd occasionally eat the roses.

he thought it was maybe also the gods showing him something but he thought that was insane and something is wrong with him for thinking so.
maybe he was drugged after leaving home.
who knows?

so if anyone has seen that comic I did where magolor and spark were by a glowing lake you'd probably think "hm. something looks familiar?" and you'd be right ^^
makes you think.. who did spark see that in reflection? in a glowing lake. sadly lacking blue roses wilted with time.

I've been meaning to draw this for awhile as karma deserves some love, I finally figured out after watching a lighting study video

This was pretty fun to make and really quick too (look guy don't ask how tf one guy pumps this out in 2-3 hours I'm a fast worker and it scares me-)

also the glowing eye in his mask is due to his antenna as formies in my au have glowing antennas ^^

karma is based on quirrel from hollow knight. karmas colours are meant to be a complete opposite to someone
karma got a redesign making his antenna yellow instead of blue.
