Description
Yith-Golonak, Sire of A thousand Midnights is without a doubt the most powerful and essentially important of my non-canonical Old Ones.He floats aimlessly in an endless, screaming void of nothingness, constantly spewing forth and re-consuming biomass in the form of his spawn.
These spawn float freely in the void around him, fully sapient in thought and amorphous to shape shifting degrees.
A good comparison would be The Thing, from The Thing, or any alien in Contra.
If his young manage to escape his many voracious maws, they may float freely through the blood curdling space for aeons, slowly growing as they feed on other, less mentionable things or entering our own dimension and it's counterparts to metamorphosize into lesser Old Ones.
He is the father Nasp, Ogotho-naggoth, Soathub, Uthogttl, possibly father and/or mate of Bo'ghame and many more of my non-canon Outer Gods that you may come to see me upload in the future. He has also given birth to the plane of Miatos, and all organic life found there can be directly traced back to him.
He is the undisputed master of Aven (a dimension hopping wizard lizard who pops up in many of my works, stories, ideas, and art) and any destructive or chaotic act that Aven may commit while on a world are more than likely directly influenced by Yith-Golonak, though other old ones do have considerable control over the reptile - sending him to alternate earth like planets, planes, realms, dimensions, and spheres to sow the seeds of their darkling madness and pave the way for their eventual return.
