Description
In the immediate years following the war with Estovakia, the Emmerian military underwent significant restructuring as a smaller but more technologically sophisticated fighting force. For its fighter units, the procurement of 5th generation fighters was accelerated with the "Angel 2025" modernization program for both the REAF and REN. Naval Aviation had learned bitter lessons with the aging Tomcats and sought to replace them with the X-02S Wyvern, now set to lead the air superiority role. The JSF was also met with significant interest with the Air Force acquiring the F-35A and the Navy getting the F-35C for multirole operations.
