One of the most ignorant comments about the rebooted Star Trek is the pathetically ridiculous notion that it automatically "overwrites" or "disses" the "holy" original stuff. That is just ignorant and misguided lunacy! This incarnation is meant to exist as a separate entity, free from all the continuity constraints that hindered its predecessors.

You know, being a Star Trek fan used to be an enjoyable past time for me. Seeing all those hare-brained know-it-all condescending asshat fanboys really tarnish the experience. Seriously, is it so hard to open your minds and accept new ideas? Canon and continuity are just words, don't let them get in the way of enjoying a show that is arguably meant to entertain and be fun! That's what you old fans wanted right? "Bring back Kirk" or some purist shit? I guess when some details are off, you all throw those predictable hissy fits!!!

Trekkies are such great ambassadors for first world problems. It's ironic, Star Trek is all about tolerance and infinite diversity, yet the lot of its "hardcore" followers are constituted by such spoiled brats.

Now that's the real fucking problem isn't it? The blame everybody, but do nothing Trekkie! I'm trying to make some decent art here but my head is spinning right now, rant over!!!
