Description So I don't normally upload WIPs (this is actually the first one I have uploaded) but I've decided to start doing it now for two reasons.

The first reason is that a couple of weeks ago my computer updated and after the update my primary drawing program stopped working. This was annoying not only because I had just gotten in the groove of using it but also because when I left off on it I was in the middle of working on a piece I hadn't saved off into any other format besides the special art file for that program. That whole debacle got me thinking that this computer is coming up on middle age and has already had some hardware troubles (it was a laptop before but is now a desktop because I had to remove the screen) and I don't want to be completely lose everything I'm working on when it does decide to kick the bucket because of too many updates or just old parts.

The second reason is just so I can start uploading more frequently. I started doing this a little on twiter with the traditional art I've been doing but I haven't really done much over here. This is because I've been trying to put more digital stuff on here and it still takes me a while to finish things digitally. If I start uploading WIPs here then hopefully I'll get into the habit of posting more and as I get faster at digital stuff I'll be able to start sharing more finished works instead of unfinished ones.

But in short, I'm going to be posting more WIPs to keep a log of where I am and to make myself post more often. I'll add a bit of background on this character once I've finished her but until next time, I hope you like what you see~

EDIT: Just finished the main linework here and will be moving on to colours soon (not really sure what I'm going to shot for yet though). Also I originally just added the box, barrel and table to give reference for her posture but I'm thinking about keeping them for the final piece.

EDIT2: Ok, so clearly this isn't coloured yet. I was a being a bit silly when I said I'd be working on that soon. I want to finish the background before I start moving on to colours. Originally I think I was just going to screw the background like I normally do but I really need to start including them in more of my stuff and it's actually not as bad hard as I always thought it would be. It's nowhere near done of course but it's going well. I also changed her right hand again (this is like the third time to...) as well as some smaller details about her. I'll probably add more small things as I go until I actually get to the colours but that's still a ways off. I'll also give her a proper name once I finish. Odds are I'll be drawing this character again when that happens because I really loved her design as soon as I started sketching it however long ago this was XD

EDIT3: Things are pretty messy with that background now but it's alright. I decided last time that I'm not going to include linework in the final piece, just to see how it goes. This is going to be a first for me so I make no promise in regards to the quality at the end. If it doesn't work out then eh, I'll have tried at least. If it does, then great! Either way I'll probably try this again, be it for improvement or refinement. Anyway I just have a few more things to place in the linework before I start putting down base colours. I'll probably tweak her wardrobe a bit too while I'm still working on lines but it shouldn't be anything major, mostly around the arms so the gloves match her boots. May even give her an animal companion of some sort to hang out under her table, not sure on that yet though... We'll see.
