I'm hateful toward them because they think they have the right to insult people who like the show. They, for some reason, think that people shouldn't be allowed to watch the show. I can accept that someone thinks it's wierd, and I can even accept that someone doesn't like the show, as long as they don't have a problem with us watching the show. But when people start calling us "horsefuckers" or "austistics", that's when I start (metaphorically) breaking teeth. I don't go looking for trouble, but I'll go ballistic on someone who's insulting us.

It's probably because the multitude of parodies and crossovers. That's what annoys me the most, there is nothing that isn't pony-fied and it's the most frustrating thing ever. It's like sonic fans but a thousand times worse. I understand these people are a minority and most people aren't like that, but any group of people with extremists will be picked on by the general masses (good example being feminists).
I don't hate you for liking a show, I hate that I can't find good references or art of the original topic because there's so many f***ing pony parodies.
