Graphite, tinted charcoal highlights on 9x12 Toned Paper (Tan)The one and only photograph of my Great Uncle, such poor quality.
It was common in the early 1900's to have a photo taken in artificial back drops. Kinda funny.
But, he and my grandpa, his brother, immigrated in 1920-ish and worked in coal mines.
