I used to love Aerosmith in 6th grade when I got into them. I still think they're great, but they aren't as badass as AC/DC. (Hell, no one is!)
One of my guy friends got me hooked on the Beatles with Paperback Writer.
When watching 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs on VH1 Classic, Welcome To The Jungle was #1, so I looked into GNR, and the rest just went from there. Axl really fawked up by breaking up the original Appetite lineup.
Motley Crue = Badassery. Not as much as AC/DC, but they're relatively badass.

I once stood on this one spot in this one college where you'd have to be in a certain angle to hear the enormous volume of your voice ringing through your hears. It was pretty cool.
