My favorite Jumpstart game, “Jumpstart Reading for Second Graders.”

I painted the cast on a canvas!

The plot is: CJ the Frog and Edison the Firefly go on an adventure and find the lost city of Ursulab. They keep their arch nemesis, Dr. Listick the Snail and his henchman, Stanley the Rooster, from reaching Ursulab first. They search for diamonds and jewels in the following levels: Egypt, Atlantis, The Caves of Cumae, Ayer’s Rock, and Machu Picchu.

The characters from this game, are named:

CJ the Frog (The main hero)

Edison the Firefly (CJ’s sidekick. He’s my favorite character!)

Sybil the Cat (She is the guardian of The Caves of Cumae. If you’ve played this game, Edison has a crush on her, which is really cute! Sybil also sings the song, “In The Caves Of Cumae.”)

McCloud the Penguin (He’s CJ’s butler. He takes care of CJ’s home, “Frog Manor.”)

Bingo the Dingo (He’s the guardian of Ayer’s Rock… pretty cool guy!)

Dr. Listick the Snail (CJ’s and Edison’s arch nemesis)

Stanley the Rooster (Dr. Listick’s henchman)

Jumpstart Reading For Second Graders is my favorite game that CJ and Edison starred in!

I played a lot of Jumpstart games in my childhood, and the characters are all very likable!

I also love the Frankie games, the Hopsalot games, and Jumpstart 3rd Grade with Botley the Robot!
