Description   Greetings! Friends!
From the left, a T-Rex yearling hen, already bigger than a human, distracts a small 'raptor, from her approaching brother, with a courtship dance, that impresses the 'raptor into responding, giving brother the opportunity to grab food.
Not much meat, but the fun of the hunt is worth it.
T-Rex's love the forests.  Shade from the sun, and tons of small game everywhere.
In the background, we see mama Rex silently watching her chicks.  And just visible, right of mama, is grandma, limping along behind the pride.
The big males are about a half-mile downwind of the group.  Any game that's flushed, and that isn't immediately caught, will be intercepted by the males.
While there's no evidence for the described type of behavior, it might make sense that this form of cooperative behavior may have been learned, or "hard-wired" into the brain's instinct center.  It would certainly facilitate the survival and prosperity of the species.
Best, Jim
