eow 2/5...im failing at illustrations... they are supposed to be somehow filled with mystery and a bit surreal, but they looks like ordinary sci fi pfff...

I think this has a lot of mystery to it, to be honest with you. It tells a story but at the same time leaves you wanting to find out more, definitely pulls you in and hooks you. Great composition, very epic. And nice use of colors and flow. Very well done

Definitely an awesome piece, but you've got a point; perhaps it's the usual 'cityscape' perspective that does it...
The floating 'egg' thing's a nice touch
The flying debris/snow really adds a great sense of atmosphere to it.

Ugh, I totally know how you feel. :/ I can imagine some beautiful things sometimes, but when I attempt to draw them... not so beautiful.
