Description
A quick sketch for a bud who helped me out on a technical issue. First attempt at the Darkness created by the incomparable Marc Silvestri.First draft was too grey so I went back in and spotted blacks in the background and added some visual interest with white out pen.

I really like this kinda "gritty" technique...though everytime I try it I think I go too far and destroy my drawing...dont know how ya do it man but looks great!

That's still pretty sick jim..... I haven't really been into American comics in a while.... but I still admire my country's artists just as much....
Last time I was reading American ...Marc Silvestri just started The Darkness and Turner was doing Witchblade.... I have to say I actually had the 1st couple of issues of Battle Chasers by Joe Mad... lol and the 1st issue of Crimson...lol
I haven't kept up but I wonder what Joe Mad's into now...
Well Anyways keep punching out the clock and I'll keep enjoying it.... (note: Got any Recommendations for current Comic Series in America?? )
