Part one of nine drawings for prompt 4 of the Cooper Union Home test: A sequence of images in search of a beginning and end.

Here is the statement I sent in on the cover of this book (for everything was a page in a sketchbook):

Life is essentially a search. All throughout your life, you seek to understand your beginnings, your childhood, your future, and your eventual death. Birth is the beginning, death is the end. It is the most basic start to finish that exists. However, this prompt asks for a search, life.
To reach this ideal, I drew nine separate drawings though the course of February. Every day, the search continues and I change, if ever so slightly. This also parallels to my artistic search. Every work of art is a new "day" and search for aesthetic and conceptual perfection.
This sequence of images is merely a small collection of my ongoing search.
