One out of several fur tutorials! This one is How to Paint Black Fur. I'll definately be making the rest very soon! Checkout my White and Black fur tutorial too if you'd like 😊

As for Tools Used 😌:

The one tool/pen I use the most is a custom brush I've fixed up A LONG time ago, using a chosen pen base, which I've found is the BLURRING MARKER, then toggled opacity, jitter, ect. to make it look similar to a watercolor brush, that I can adjust the angles to make detail, line art, textures, ect., it's SO versatile! Along with an already-made Airbrush tool. *Pen Size depends on how thick you want your Fur Tufts to be!*

KEEP IN MIND: I am only still novice(very new!) with general digital painting, so take my info as a grain of sand, this is my OWN way of how I paint fur with my OWN experience.

--- This tutorial is ideal for others who are experienced with IbisPaint and/or IbisPaintX, but is acceptable/learn-able for anyone studying any tutorial. 💞

--- If you've read the descriptions under some of my recent artwork, you've noticed I'll also be making Natural fur next! My only hope would be to make each sheet as similar in style and layout as possible.
