Description
This is an old character of mine, performing her attack, Flying Pink Disk. She's the heroine of an old story called A-Guardian. She began life as a self-insert, then a magical girl parody, then I decided to create a serious story, and that came from that. A-Guardian has been around for about four or so years now, but I never really did anything with it, until I created Glow in the Dark (there's a drawing of the characters of that here too). A few months later, I decided to put them together and create one story. I added the theme of the world people go to in their daydreams and made some character changes, and the result, as you've probably guessed, was the idea for the Elania trilogy.

What I liked about this girl was her absolute lack of colour coordination. You could just use any old pencil crayon you had the most of when drawing her, not caring if it matched. That's probably why I drew her so many times. I need to get out the old drawings of her and the rest of the cast of A-Guardian, and scan them.

She had absolutely -everything- in that backpack of hers. (You can't really see the backpack, though.) The crystal was one of three that were, in a sense, part of her. There was one in another dimension, sustaining her life; one she had with her, sustaining her powers; and the third one turned out to be her spirit that could take solid form. They were all neon pink like her hair.

The Wings of Love/Dream evolved from an alternate form that she could take, although not only did she have wings, she looked completely different.
