Another natural environment! used some matte techniques to do some of the vegetation on the hills, but everything is mostly painted.Hope you enjoy it!

A matte technique means that I used some photographic textures and overlayed them on the painting, and then painted over that as necessary. It gives very quick detail that would take allot of time to paint.

Very nicely done. I love the relic type feeling that this image gives. Like there's something waiting to be discovered here or maybe it's just the wonder of the land itself.

Ah man, love this one, the atmosphere and colours are gorgeous! It's got that wonderful sense of a lost paradise. Especially the cliffs that peak out of the vegetation in the midground are cool. Only the water seems a bit rushed and I'm not sure if the texture you used fits well, because it looks like the water in a sea, rather than a lake. And I kind of think that a small explorer's ship or vehicle would be cool and kind of give it more scope than that single figure. You know, like an expedition of sorts
But still, awesome piece, I really enjoy it!

Awesome atmosphere! The calmness of the water and the beautiful color scheme create a very serene mood. I love the fog surrounding the mountains too, it gives a great sense of depth and adds mystery to the scene as well.
