Everything is perfect... apart from the texture used for the tree's leaves, it's a bit too noticeable.

Agreed. If this part of the picture should be in focus, its trunk should be as clearly visible as the leaves.
Also, the girl is easy to overlook. I wouldn't have looked or that kind of detail in that kind of image.

I love the waterfall and the giant, what looks to be a root that creates a bridge over it.
Very creative. Great color pallet; it sets a calm mood to the whole scene.

I love the citadel feel of this enclosed, yet very open space. I'm a huge fan of stone pillars and this really hits the spot.
The light seems to be coming from so many refracted directions yet it still feels natural. The left side of the tree appears to be lit from light reflecting off the water and it still works well.

The others have already expressed my thoughts, but they bear repeating: this is ethereal, and the tiny female figure adds excellent contrast and a sense of scale. The tree is obviously old and established in these woods.
The one thing I'll add that I didn't see mentioned is that this has a traditional Japanese aspect; it invites the viewer to wander in and stroll through the painting. Well done!

Was the decision to color the girl's hair red an aesthetic one given that it helps her stand out amongst all the green foreground?
Love it.
