Amazing. Do you brush the whole thing in Photoshop or do you use other apps/techniques?

Wow. I can start with a picture, apply some filters and then brush it a bunch with the smudge tool to make it look like I painted it but this, this takes real skill. And real vision. I'm very impressed.

Now THAT is an awesome design, If I ever wanted to have a guardian sea monster, THAT would definitely be him!
I'm loving the story you've got going, its got an RPG sort of feel to it. brilliant landscape and gorgeous castle design, but, as previously stated...That monster is awesome.

Love this! The composition is great, it definitely pulls you through the whole picture. That red hair though, constant distraction lol. The details on the castle are really neat too.

After her long journey the young girl had finally reached the outlying shores of the massive moat. "I'm here," she thought with the briefest relief, "but something isn't right." The lack of cheers and flying banners had her worried as the fog of the recently concluded battle filled the air making it almost impossible for her to breath or see even past the near wall of the fortress city. The terrifying thought had occurred to her, had her father underestimated the enemy when he had sent for her to return and celebrate for the victorious defense of the city? As the thought lingered a second longer the fog took shape near the northern section of the moat. She could hardly believe what had appeared before her eyes as the ageless monstrosity rose into the air and let out a deafening cry that shook the earth and made her cringe as if a legion of banshees were screaming into her ears. As she collapsed to the ground she could barely let out a faint whimper of which she was the only one to hear,

"My God."

As the deathly mist of the [insert some evil sounding name here] approached inexorably towards the keep, the defenders, watching in despair from the murder holes and balconies of the beleaguered yet sturdy castle walls, lost all hope. The hundred or so remaining defenders had fought and survived against hellish armies, massive files of demons stretching as far as the eye could see, and had kept the crimson flags on the lofty peaks of their castle standing tall - a beacon of hope for the battle weary warriors. Yet despite their victories, they were helpless to watch as the black fog darkened the normally vibrant sapphire summer sky of [insert country name here]. The skies were turning into an absolute black, darker than even the cavernous caves of [insert random name here] where no creature dared make his abode. This blackness grew thicker and darker still, and began to engulf the crimson flags, as it ate away at the last vestiges of the defenders' hope. But before the flags were consumed entirely, a large rumble was heard. From the lake surrounding the castle, a thunderous crash of water could be heard, as the head of a terrible monster pieced the air. A piercing bloodcurdling cry was emitted, which drove several of the defenders to their knees in fear, but pierced a hole into the seemingly impenetrable smog. As a small crack of sunlight, the terrifying visage of the beast appeared in its entirety. The terrifying beast was enormous, measuring at least several hundred meters - though most of its length was obscured in the deep waters), and seemed a mixture of hundreds of the mythological beasts and demons of history. Its gaping mouth was encircled by razor-sharp bladed teeth, each longer than twenty men stacked upon each other. The beast was monstrous and terrible - but to the defenders, it was more beautiful than any could describe. When the darkness fell and all hope was lost, a beacon of light had risen up and pierced the darkness. With the light came hope, with hope, came life.
There's my crappy story for this amazing picture.
Yeah...I realized I forgot to talk about the person in the foreground....

Wow...omg, this may be my favorite of all your works.
I could actually write a large book, just using the inspiration that overflows in this image.

It's beautiful, scary, breath-taking, mind breaking.

Really loved it.
If one day i actually finish the book i'm writting, i'll try to hire you for some illustrations for it!

Don't know if that'll happen or if you'll accept it, but it's still a possibility.

I wonder how did you call that giant worm/loch ness creature?

Anyway, amazing amazing job.
