Calm and happy-go-lucky, but don't be fool by her 'sleepy' expression. Emily is known as "The Dream Fortune Teller" in the Ivywood. With her partner, Luna, she's allowed to read the dream of people or pokemon and see the possible future that can happen to that visitor. Wether it's a good or bad dream, she's willing to hear about the visitor's problem and 'heal' them if needed.
History:
It is unknown where Emily’s origin is for she had been moving a lot when was young. Emily has constant nightmare about something that her parents and doctors cannot explain. Because of this, she often has panic attack and the neighbour kids are aware of her problem. Until the day she moved to the busy street of Castelia City. It was another night with fearful nightmare when a mysterious sphere with glowing eyes was staring at her through the bedroom window. At first Emily was scared, but she has this feeling that perhaps the creature was harmless. It turns out the pokemon called Munna. Realising the pokemon wants some place to stay in long cold night, she opens the window and let it in. Munna was pleased. She let the pokemon accompanied her in bed. In that moment, she faced the nightmare again. But this time, the fear went away as she saw Munna was by her side in her dream.

Ever since then, Emily was no longer having those awful dreams and getting healthy. Her parents were glad and allowed her to keep Munna as her companion. She named her companion Luna as she recalled the night she met Munna. Emily has this bond with the pokemon and how she discovered that Munna’s ability to eat dream and project the dream vision to her. However, her dream hasn’t been fully healed yet, but as long as she connects with Luna, she never feels lonely and scared again.

Facts:
Her fortune telling depends on the dream of the customer.
She allows Luna to ‘eat’ the dream of the visitor and send it to hers. Her fortune telling requires 'the dream' to work.
Some of her customers are not comfortable with her dreamy state as if she sounds distracted and sleepy. But when she points out the ‘problem’ from the dream, whether it’s personal or secret, it will hit them hard.
In most cases, Luna has to be the one who wakes Emily up when working with the customer.

Munna was first appeared in Castelia City. When it was a cold night, Munna was looking for shelter when she 'senses' a weird dream to feast on. As she tracks down, it was from a girl named Emily and she had some nasty nightmare. The pokemon deeply stares at the girl, begging to let it in because of the cold. Munna was pleased by the warm welcome of the young girl. Because of this, in return, she helps Emily to overcome her nightmare.

Caught in Safari Park. The little one follows the trail of his prey in the dark side of the park which was Emily's Munna until both pokemon got in a fight. Vanexa joins the team as Emily's observer and tracker. She can use her compounded eyes to see in the dark and protect Emily with her poisonous powder. However, Vanexa would wander off Emily's side and gets in the fight with any pokemon.

Caught in Safari Park. It happened when Vanexa goes for hunting again and found a little fairy pokemon. Though it looks small but this little Flabebe is not some weak pokemon anyone wants to mess with. Both got into a rough fight until Emily has to stop after Flabebe got seriously injured. After getting healed in Pokemon Centre, the fairy pokemon doesn't show any grudge against Emily, even after what happened. Being blessed by Emily's kind heart, Chloe decided Emily's as a healing pokemon. She can use her aromatherapy while Emily performs her dream treatment, giving a positive feeling to the user.

Caught in the Town Centre during the Alolan Heat Wave. The pokemon was looking for a place to sleep in peace after the whole commotion until it was spotted by Emily in the alley. Emily senses its distress so she decides to help. Once she convinces, the pokemon quickly climb on her shoulder, sleeping pleasantly. Although its claw holds tight, Emily tries to endure the pain to bring them back to the town centre before it wakes up. Since then, Robin joins the team and it's the first male pokemon Emily has.
