Today is Remembrance Day in Canada. On the 11th day of the 11th month of the year, Canadians take the time to honour all those who have fallen by the way, those who served their country, continue to serve, not just in the Armed Forces but the police, firefighters and first responders as well.Here, too, is the link for the story written by ever ebullient and prodigious DancingLunarWolves for the art above which was created by the wonderfully talented artist, TheWinterBunny .

Today, at the 11th hour, the whole of Canada will stand silent for two minutes in honour of our heroes. I ask the rest of the world to join us in remembering them.

I certainly won't forget. Thank you for telling me about this day of honour.
This will be the first year that I've known about it and I wish everyone well in whichever way they choose to remember those fallen: friends, family, others that helped them.
