Everyone knew He was just a myth. Something, the humans dreamed up to give them an excuse for giving gifts, making naughty children behave, and so that they could be nice to each other for a change. They would even make special treats, cookies and candies in anticipation. Yet, he couldn't be real. Even with magic, the fairies couldn't hope to do half the things the stories said he could. So, it was only appropriate for a fairy to eat and drink the offered milk and cookies that human children set aside for him. No one would mind. Besides it helped encouraged them to believe in Santa and leave more treats for the fairies the next year.

At least that was what Casabel keep telling herself right up until a large shadow fell over her, she noticed a fur trimmed red suit, and heard oft reported distinctive laugh. "Oh, I am sooo busted," she gulped. Looking up she innocently smiled, and holding out a treat to him nervously asked, "Cookie?"
