The younger of the two mechanical fairies in my group, Chroma is actually a shape changing alien probe sent to infiltrate the faerie realm. Developing self awareness (possibly due to work from fairy Gremlins or Tinker fairies), she decided that she liked it and the fairy form far better than her former masters realm.
