Jay was really nervous about getting in the water. This puzzled me because he is usually very comfortable around water. As I chatted with him, it came out that the nervousness wasn't about the water, but, rather, the casts. After I assured him that he would be perfectly fine and I was going to be right next to him, he relaxed and ended up having a good time.
