Back when toons were just starting out William (Willie) Orson tried to create a star. Toile was his first, and only toon. When the studio big wigs were looking for toon stars they went with cute animals like Felix and Oswald, or provocative like Betty. They didn't believe that people would come to see french artist have adventures with his magic paint brush. He was never given the chance to be in a single cartoon. The big wigs however liked Willie's style and wanted to try to create another toon, an animal. Willie shortly disappeared after that. When the police went to search his apartment all the fold was a puddle of paint on the floor next to his animation desk. Years went by and Toile tried vigorously to get in a cartoon. When toons went to color, inexplicably Toile had color, but the studios rejected him. He just wasn't funny or interesting enough to be in cartoons. Toile stomped off the audition stage never to been heard from again, until today. A lot of people speculated that he had something to do with Willie disappearance, but nothing could be proven.
