In the new Roger Rabbit movie Eddie and Dolores son Jacob Valiant (played by Chris O'Donnell) took over the family detective business. He along with his junior partner Brett Tucker (played by Zac Efron) are hot in a case. Roger is devastated when Jessica has disappeared along with several other toons. He goes to hire Eddie and finds Jacob instead. The clues lead the trio into Toon Town when Roger now disappears. Jacob and Brett enter a Toon Highrise and use the elevator, even though Eddie has warned Jake to never take the elevator in Toon Town. I guess they should have listened.
