Well, a lot of things, first is to have a Wii capable to be hacked with a custom OS no later than version 4.3, a backup launcher with cheat module integration capable (there's the trick), Super Smash Bros Brawl of course, Characters' outfit textures you want to change, an SD card (a 512MB will do the trick), and a lot of patience to make this happens

I went here [link] you need to be a member, is free, but the page seems to be in spanish You need to look for "bannerbomb" for the version of wii you have, there is all the info you need to first modify the console without needing a ship. Or you you can search about "Modding a Wii with Bannebomb for X.XX" where X is the current OS version on your system (ex; 3.3U) that's the first you need to do.
