The title might be a little misleading because this actually wasn't the first Maxxor image that Khary ever worked on. However, this did turn out to be the first official Maxxor card that was printed for the original "Dawn of Perim" set.

Khary had already been working on Chaotic for a couple of months (at least) before I came on board. I think I may have provided him with the idea for this pose, but I don't remember. Khary had to redo so many versions and poses of Maxxor by this time that he might have been feeling a little burned out. I really can't remember for certain. Maybe Khary can shed some more light...
