I might as well start showing these now... one entry I had stored away from a series of contests at the PE2K forum. The theme was to include pokemon in some way to any real-life movie that was released, and this was my idea. Completed a few years back... please enjoy.
Outline and color of characters in pencil and Prismacolor; background and text in Photoshop.

An extremely rare fish pokemon that was introduced in the Ruby/Sapphire pokemon series... running into one was basically a chance encounter.

You know, I like the german names of pokemon a lot better than the english ones. They osund cooler for some reason.

but one name I like in english better. we call that pokemon Schalellos but Shellos is a lot easier.
