Description Another oldie, drawn a few years ago... I can't even remember what the original title was. ><;

Everything was drawn in pencil, except for the falling rain and the slight glare effects. Again, I tried to mess around with the shading.

Nidoking's pose is a little off on his right side... he's supposed to be leaning against his knee, but instead it looks like he's not leaning at all... maybe to the other side if anything... so I apologize for that. Tell me what you think, and please enjoy.

Nidoking, Nidoran male and female, Aggron (c) Pokemon

Aggron and Nidoking would be much better hugging than fighting, that's sad D8
I like the way you shadowed it, you did pretty well 8D

Wow this really needs more comments! The rendering is really beautiful and you show great control in your values. Your lines are so crisp and clean, too. Body language, perspective, and the use of a tilt all add to the feeling of danger. The situation looks a little hopeless on the Nidoking's side judging by his expression, but the pose shows resilience. The start of rainfall amplifies the atmosphere too. Rain doesn't have to be heavy to be moody and you've shown that here.

Since this is a few years old I am sure you're much better now in skill, so talking about the lighting (Magnetohydrodynamic beat me to it) would be beating a dead horse.

This is truly amazing. You captured a water effect in black in white pencil... that in itself is an amazing feat. But I really love the setting, and the perspective. This is so fabulous, I hope you do more like soon. <3

Oh wow, the perspective and shading is so dramatic! It's great, quite epic. Like someone said, there's a story here--in everyone's stances and expressions as well as the setting--that's so visible it's almost like taking a screenshot off a movie. Very cool!

Very atmospheric picture that tells a great story. It doesn't have to be introducted, let the viewers come up with their own theories. The rain looks good and the lines and shading are precise. What I think it lacks is a consistent source of light. If the light came only from one direction this would be a wee bit more dramatic.
