I personally think the eyes are perfect....and the tiny bit of blue draws the viewer's eye to them..

Personally speaking, I disagree. The eyes being mostly closed was the first thing I loved about this picture, and I think the hint of contrast adds a little something without becoming the focus. This way, the focus seems more about contrasting the finished parts with the unfinished parts and the geometric shape of the hearts with the scribbles in the hair.
I guess it's just personal tastes.

Perhaps. I had to find something to criticise - leaving a comment saying basically "zOMG I LOVED IT." does no one real any good. Honestly, I loved the picture, and yes, I'd agree, it's probably just personal taste ^^
