These are the two kittens I bought (costly!) from the SPA two months before. They didn't told me they were very sick! The day after they arrived, I discovered that their eyes were filled with a liquid, unable to breath by their nose and refusing to eat and to drink. I took them to the vet who told me they were having a rhino-tracheitis, an illness often lethal for kittens and old cats. My two males were about 12 years old. I have totally isolated them and began to feed them with syringes - milk, water, Ensure, many times a day. And took them often to a vet or another. Besides, Milou was having ringwhorm and I caught it of course.This is Manouche and Milou. On the photo, Manouche is almost 5 months old but she was so thin and small. Milou was about 3 1/2 months. They have suffered a lot but I kept them alive, thank God!

A belated birthday gift for , aka Tea whose birthday was on October 23.
When I have arrived to DA, Tea is one of the first persons I met. How lucky I have been! We are great friends since then, I miss her when she is not on DA.
I am so happy to know you, my dear friend, it is like I had always known you!

Thanks for sharing this beautiful and heartfelt story. My friend you have a heart of gold. Sometimes it is not easy caring for sick animals but as you can see it was well worth all the effort you put into bringing them back to health as they turned out to be two very beautiful kitties. I am sure that when you look at them now you feel very proud. This is about the best dedication you can make for Tea as her heart is just as beautiful as yours and she is going to love and appreciate this. She is one of the loveliest people I have come to know on DA.

It was certainly worth it, Melissa!
The issue is that I bought them 3 weeks after having lost my most beloved cat ever. I had fed him with syringes during more than 2 months, I did what I could. But he was having a deadly virus inherited from his mother.
Then I got these two lovely kittens and the day after, they went very ill and I have had to use syringes again to feed them. It was a difficult time for me.
But now, they are very sweet and healthy.
