Yes, I do the same thing with the right column.
I started doing the linking because I like using the titles
for my art.
Sometimes I am listening to a song as I do art and
want to use it.

I see what you are saying. On the front page is the most popular
works of the 8 hours or 1 day...at the bottom of that page is
where the Daily Deviations are.
A person can only have a couple for the year and I had a DD last month.

Indeed it would be cool... I saw the faq about daily deviations and how they work, and it's impossible the artist has a choice, since it is the individual piece the one to be subjected to the analysis and acceptance to the DD, not the artist and their whole work...
However, I think the artist has a choice! the DD works to bring you more watchers and faves and llamas, (well, not llamas) but since you have featured your most excellent works in the front page, people will see that! Also, since the artist can modify the description on their work, if they put thumbs of their best work in that DD, it would help to people to see their best art!

Yes...a DD is a good thing. I just have pieces that
do better than the DD's I had.
I had 2 DD's and neither of them is in my top 10 works.
I think a good way to reach people is to be in groups
and also post only the art that you like best.
I do so many pieces of art that I never submit here.
I will use them some way with my new works.
