I have a hard time with my acrylics in orange, they turn out really muddy
but for digital work, the orange is highly appealing to lots of people
including the artist

I understand. In acrylics I've been using the different browns
and mixing them with some red shades. Orange isn't easy to work with.

I tried orange today......the painting was going along swimmingly, reds, greens, yellow
I say to Self....Self, just throw a drop of orange in there and see what happens....
MUD...
I paint wet on wet so that probably has something to do with orange turning to MUD...
some people paint in layers and let dry, but I love bending the colors while they are
wet and pliable...but Orange on wet colors was still just Mud....LOL

no not yet....
Yesterday I used Gold flakes, that was a mistake, it looks like
the Leprechaun who found the pot of gold pooped all over my painting....
