funny story about mario, when the original character was being created they really didn't intend on mario turing out the way he did (an italian plumber, etc). The first game he was in was the arcade game by nintendo where he fights donkey kong, the graphics were so bad that they had to had a mustache, brown boots, red overalls, a hat just so the character would resemble a human. From there they just kind of "went" with what he looked like and called him plumber. lol
