Kestrel is the arch-enemy of Iron Eagle. His suit is meant to be a version of Iron Eagle's tech, stolen and used against him.

Kestrel's armor is bulkier than Iron Eagles, as it's based on an early design, that Kestrel made modifications to. The belt around his waist houses the suit's power supply, as well as the controls for his force field, and anti-gravity technology.
