Cartoons and Comics—Clark Macmillan
Physical Age: 20-ish
Actual Age: Approx. 332, maybe older
Approx. Birth Year: 1682 (oldest surviving period cartoons)
Left with dad: 1840
Life ruined forever: 1997
Comics is an oddball who lives in his father Literature's basement collecting toys. Like his dad, he has quite an imagination and likes playing hero, eager to come to the rescue of anyone in need of his help. He is quite vocal about his opinions and is not afraid to say things that aren't very pleasant (a trait he got from his mother, Art). Once quite optimistic, he, much like his father, is a very imaginative lad who enjoys living in an escapist fantasy. His parent's intellectual aloofness and distance toward each other and him made him turn to cynicism to win their respect, something that came to bite him back in the 1990s
He loves to draw and is fond of telling stories using pictures. Running contrary to his dad, he uses few words and could go perfectly well without them.
He and his father aren't exactly very close. Lit simply cannot comprehend his son's obsession with pictures—something that reminds him too much of his mother. They don't always get along, and dad is often more than happy to delegate his upbringing to his uncles. He is very fond of his mother but often feels that even her standards might be too high.
Despite their relationship wedge, he tries to gain his father's acceptance. From time to time, his dad does show that he does appreciate his efforts and loves him anyway. His dad's brothers are very fond of him and his sense of humor. He has a half-brother, Animation; they get along just fine.
He has superpowers, but uses them in very mundane ways. He uses flight to walk in midair, laser vision to heat coffee, and x-ray vision for less than gentlemanly things. Despite this, he still retains the personality of a socially awkward geek and acts this way even when surrounded by admirers (though he enjoys every moment of it).
He bears a striking family resemblance to the prints (with a particularly strong resemblance to his father) but has a pair of silver-gray eyes as opposed to the brown or green of the rest of his family. He sometimes wears a heavy jacket over his usual attire, which usually consists of a T-shirt with a speech balloon on it, a pair of trousers, and shoes. He keeps a pencil in his ear. On occasion, he wears a sleeveless shirt with a similar print.
Onomatology
He takes his name from Clark Kent/Superman, the archetypical and arguably the most famous comic book protagonist.
---
TRIVIA: He and Magazine (here his uncle) have a very small age difference. (1655 = First Magazines, 1682 = Period Comics).
Given that ComMedia is a web comic/single shot cartoon serial, he is the native medium of the series and as such will be the butt of every joke regarding the series and its quality.
Comics, in a similar way to his brother Animation, represents the medium of sequential art narratives as opposed to singular region-specific industries, and embodies many of their tropes in summation (flying brick physique and powers, manga protagonist facial appearance, newspaper/editorial comic sense of humor, IRL comic book geek personality). He represents both this and Manga, Webcomics, Franco-Belgian comics, indie comics, graphic novels, newspaper comics, editorial cartoons, etc.

Perhaps with this new profile already one gives account of two things on Comics: one: his 'cold and aloof' persona is only an imitation so that his father see him that he can also use these dark themes and two: 'manchild ' less the psychopath part (that is with Television).
Perhaps Literature, an extremely old immature medium has also genetically transmitted to Comics to be an old immature medium like him, that is possibly the only thing they have in common between them (also in appearances). XI
